Technology

Technological advances have a direct impact on humans and also it strongly affects the ability to control and adapt to the environment. The technology came into existence when natural resources were used as simple tools. And since then it advancing and is still an ongoing process. Tools developed, fire was produced, wheel was developed and today there countless number of things that technology has given to the mankind. From telephone to internet, or cart to car, technology has changed our lives completely. There’s no field where technology has not reached; from miles below the earth surface to miles beyond the earth surface technology has reached everywhere.

Technology has taken over the globe and each one us. Be it information, food, building, textile, there is perhaps no field that is untouched. Technology has reached each and every sphere and is strongly contributing in each of ours live. It makes our life convenient. In everything we do today, we cannot imagine our lives without technology. That is why it is said we are no less than the robots of time and science. Time makes us to stay in pace with the growing technology whereas technology has made us addicted to it.

Technology helps in advancement of a society and thereby a nation. From petrol to nuclear stations, more the technology, developed a country will be. Technological advancement makes a nation strong and prosperous. A country can be self sufficient and powerful only if it is technologically advanced. Every nation is finding ways to become self-sufficient and advanced and so do the nation. There exists a lot of competition today which if positive gives sweet fruits but negative side can make the nation or a person bad to worse. Every country dreams to expertise to conceptualize the facts of science and use it in productive way.

The present scenario is that it is not possible to even imagine our lives without technology. Man and machines which were used to two different words are no more separate. Instead in today’s world it would not be wrong to say that man is no less than a machine and it cannot be denied that man has become a puppet of science. However the prevailing condition today leaves us at no option but to give our lives in the hand of science.

No doubt technology has given millions and trillions of gifts, but it is somewhere felt that technology is a bane. This is because; as a very common example of introduction of machines explains the effect of technology where manual work is completely vanished and everything is automated. Life span is reduced as people become more prone to diseases with aging. Moreover directly or indirectly technology has given rise to hundreds of evils like wars, hatred, ecological imbalance, frequent natural disasters, competency, reduced life expectancy, crime, corruption and many more. Keeping this fact in mind, this is learnt that technology is a boon but giving everything in the hands of science is not wise. It is rightly said let nature do its own things and we mind our own business.
